Stacey Heislen - Executive Director

Stacey Heislen, Executive Director, has served continuously with the Missouri Ethics Commission since May 1994, joining the Commission’s management team as Director of Accounting and Personnel Services in July 2000. She was appointed to serve as Assistant Director in November 2008 and appointed Executive Director in October 2024.

She has served in many different capacities throughout her tenure with her primary duties focused on fiscal and human resources. Stacey has also overseen late fee assessment, Personal Financial Disclosure, Sunshine Law compliance and continues to assist members of the public with daily inquiries about Commission responsibilities. Stacey has extensive knowledge of all Commission operations and substantive areas.

Stacey received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Lincoln University. She is married to Dale and they have 3 children.
