Contractual Relationship:
Candidate Committees Only: Provides additional details for any contributor disclosing an existing business contract or contractual relationship of $500 or more with the political subdivision/district in which the candidate is running for office.
- §130.041.1.3.(a) RSMo - The candidate committee shall make a reasonable effort to obtain and report a description of any contractual relationship over five hundred dollars between the contributor and the state if the candidate is seeking election to a state office or between the contributor and any political subdivision of the state if the candidate is seeking election to another political subdivision of the state.
- Employees of a company which may have a contract with a political subdivision are excluded from this requirement; only the owner of the company is to disclose the contractual relationship.
